Guardrail, terminal section, impact attenuator system and crash cushion repairs on the Island of Hawaii The period of the contract shall be for 12 months commencing from the date indicated in the "Notice to Proceed" from the Department. There is an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, without re-bidding, upon mutual agreement in writing prior to the contract expiration date, provided the initial bid price remains the same. The maximum contract period is 36 months. A 5% bid adjustment for bidders that are parties to apprenticeship agreements pursuant to Section 103-55.6, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), is applicable to this project.
