Metropolitan's project involves construction of approximately 3,000 feet of pipeline within a new tunnel beneath the Interstate 215 (I-215) freeway for the Perris Valley Pipeline, including the construction of multiple access shafts, pipe installation, dewatering and potential contaminated water treatment. Work is expected to begin by June 2022. Metropolitan requires the Consultant to provide the construction management and staff with the necessary expertise and experience in construction management, pipeline, tunnel and shaft construction inspection, schedule review / analysis, and other related construction management services. Metropolitan requires the services of the Consultant to provide Tunnel and Shaft Construction Inspectors, Tunnel Engineers and depending upon Metropolitan's staffing needs, the Consultant shall also be capable of furnishing Resident Engineers, Assistant Resident Engineers / Office Engineers , Schedule Reviewers, other Construction Inspectors, and other staff as needed for work on large-diameter pipeline, tunnel and shaft construction. The Consultant shall also furnish an onsite or offsite Project Manager for the management of the consultant staff during the construction contract.
