Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbus, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Bartholomew County Commissioners (hereinafter referred to as "County") are seeking proposals to install fiber optic broadband Internet service to the residents of Bartholomew County. The County seeks to provide immediate solution to underserved areas of the County as initial priority and then continue to serve a minimum of 85% of unincorporated addresses by the end of the 2024 calendar year with the final goal to provide options for 100% of County residents and businesses. The successful Internet Service Provider (hereinafter referred to as "Applicant") will be expected to deliver synchronous 1Gbps download and 1Gbps upload speed to the largest population in the most expeditious time frame. The Applicant is expected to engineer and deliver services within the specifications identified in the Request for Proposal document. Direct all questions concerning the proposal to the Bartholomew County Commissioners office at commissioners@bartholomew.in.gov or calling 812-379-1515. Non-Collusion Affidavit furnished shall conform to the specifications which are now on file in the Commissioners and Auditor's Office and are made a part thereof by reference thereto. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part of said proposals.
