Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Carencro, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
As of May 5, 2022, the project is still in the development stage with the architects. There is no hard date for the start of construction. The Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from highly qualified Construction Management firms interested in providing Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for: RFQ# 35-22 New Carencro Heights Elementary Replacement School The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design a new replacement of the existing Carencro Heights Elementary School, 601 Teema Road, Carencro Louisiana 70520 (existing school address). LPSB has acquired additional property located directly north of the existing school property, with intent to construct the new school (primarily located on the new site) with existing school remaining in use until completion of the new school. After completion of the new school facilities, the existing school and existing site amenities would be demolished and removed. The Design and Construction team will propose a phased design and construction that allows for continued use of existing school facility while providing new facilities construction on or about the adjacent new site.
