The work for the Ramirez Canyon Park Irrigation project includes but is not limited to the testing and removal of existing irrigation materials, new installation of irrigation controllers, backflows, flow sensors, shutoffs, main lines, lateral lines, sleeving under paving, valves, valve boxes, sprinkler heads, risers, drippers, and drip emitters. Additional improvements shall include but are not limited to removal and replacement of hardscape for purposes of installing new irrigation sleeving, as approved by the owner. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidental materials necessary for the irrigation work. All questions should be submitted via the email listed above to the Staff Landscape Architect by 5:00 p.m. on December 22, 2021. Any clarifications will be provided in writing by December 29, 2021. 1. Anticipated Notice of Intent to Award Bid: February 3, 2022. This date is subject to change without notice. 2. Anticipated Construction Start Date: February 14, 2022. This date is subject to change without notice. 3. Anticipated Contract Length: 60 working days. Work must be completed by May 6, 2022. Schedule of Work: Contractor shall utilize standard industry scheduling software or equivalent scheduling software to employ the Critical Path Method (CPM) in the development and maintenance of the construction schedule. Refer to General and Special Conditions for additional Schedule Submittal and Maintenance Requirements. 1) A labor and materials payment bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; 2) a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price; and 3) upon project completion and acceptance by the MRCA, a one year warrantee bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the contract price.
