The Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from highly qualified Construction Management firms interested in providing Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) Services for: Truman Early Education Center Replacement RFQ# 33-22 OPTION #1 - The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design a new replacement of the existing Truman Early Education Center adjacent to the existing campus. Located at 200 Clara St. Lafayette, LA 70501. The Design and Construction team will need to propose a phased design that allows for new construction on an occupied site. OPTION #2 - The Lafayette Parish School Board desires to design a new replacement on a greenspace property with a location to be determined. The original and SIX (6) copies of the SOQ, per Section 4 of the SOQ dated December 3, 2021 may be delivered to the Lafayette Parish School Board (LPSB) at the Office of Purchasing, 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana 70508. All firms interested in submitting a SOQ in response to the RFP are required to attend. SOQ's submitted by firms who do not attend the Mandatory PreProposal Conference will be rejected. SOQ Respondents, their consultants, subconsultants, or other parties representing the proposed team for this solicitation may not contact any LPSB CMAR Selection Committee members concerning this project from the date of the solicitation until after the date of the selection. LPSB and the LPSB CMAR Selection Committee, reserve the right to reject any or all timely submitted SOQs in response to this RFQ for just cause and waive any informalities with any proposals received. The Lafayette Public School System Strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase of sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
