The purpose of this Request for Bid is to establish Contract(s) for heat-straightening damaged structural steel beams under, above, or on bridge decks throughout the State, on an as needed basis. The Responders will be required to furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, supplies, necessary or incidental, for the heat straightening process covered under the scope of work. The Contract(s) will be available to all State agencies and CPV Members. QUESTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS. Any questions and/or clarifications in regard to the solicitation response shall be made in writing to Craig Fernholz, Buyer, via email at craig.fernholz@state.mn.us by December 10, 2021, no later than 2:00 PM CT. If a Responder discovers any significant ambiguity, error, conflict, discrepancy, omission, or other deficiency in the RFB, they must immediately notify the Buyer in writing of such error and request modification or clarification of the document. Responders are not to contact anyone within any other State Agency regarding this solicitation. The State is not obligated to answer questions submitted after the questions/clarifications due date and time. CONTRACT RELEASE: B-356(5) The estimated total dollar value of the contract for one year is $50,000.00 to $75,000.00. The term of this contract is anticipated to be from January 1, 2022 to December 31 2022, with the option to extend up to an additional 48 months in increments determined by the State.
