Deadline for all request for clarifications, RFI's and questions will be December 13, 2021 at 3:00 pm prevailing time. All RFI's, questions and clarifications must be in writing. Send all RFI's, questions and clarifications by email to: purchasing@montclairnjusa.org. Proper responses to questions will be sent to all plan holders in accordance with current regulations. The entire section of the Bid proposal package (refer to: submission requirements) is to be returned completed. All proposals must be made upon the proposal forms attached hereto and should give the unit price in figures and the total price for both in words and in figures, and must be signed and acknowledged by the Vendor, in accordance with the specifications. The Township of Montclair reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt and reserved the right to waive any informalities, to accept a bid which is deemed most favorable to the interest of the Township, to make an award on each item separately or as a whole, and to accept any bid or to reject any or all of them in accordance with the specifications and current New jersey state and federal regulations. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963, effective January 1, 1964, and the Public Works Contractor Registration Act (NJSA 34:11-56.48). Vendors are required to comply, where applicable, with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq., New Jersey Statutes Title 19 Fair and Open Process, and all other federal, NJ state and local applicable laws.
