Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Saint Joseph, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of February 11, 2022, the project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award has not been established yet. The City of St. Joseph reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding and/or to accept the bid or bids should it consider same to be in its best interest. Lookout Park is located on (3218 - 3424) Lakeshore Drive, north of Hawthorne Avenue, with a separate north parking lot and south parking lot. See attached exhibits 1 and 2 for parking lot information. o Removal and replacement of asphalt paving as specified: Remove defective pavement as directed, replace and repair base material as needed, compaction of base, replace asphalt in two 2" lifts. o Seal entire lot: It is the intent of this project that the entire lot and driveways will be seal coated and striped following pavement repairs. o Install new paint pavement markings. o Base material shall be 21AA. o Base density test may be required. o Work on this project must be performed during the days & times approved by the City of St. Joseph. o All work on this project must be completed by June 15,2022.
