The Board of Directors of the Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District hereby invites written proposals from qualified firms (each, a respondent or proposer) interested in the performance of urban and rural facilities maintenance, pipeline cleaning and inspection, structure stabilization and soil densification, channel maintenance, rodent control services, weed control services, rodent hole repair, erosion repair and tree trimming including the provision of supplying equipment and labor necessary to operate and maintain such equipment, and services at a future time at the Big Dry Creek Dam, Fancher Creek Dam, Redbank Dam, Alluvial Drain Detention Basin, Fancher Creek Detention Basin, Pup Creek Detention Basin, Redbank Detention Basin, Dry Creek Extension Basin, Pup Enterprise Basin and various dams, embankments, storm drain pipelines, structures, pump stations, developed and undeveloped basin sites and stream channels throughout the District. Proposals must provide for a two-year term of maintenance service, which includes a base year and one (1), one-year option period. A field tour will be available, after the pre-proposal meeting, to any or all prospective respondents interested in viewing the rural facilities associated with the rodent control and weed control services contracts. The tour, which will be led by the District's staff, is not required but strongly recommended It is requested that any questions that arise between the receipt of the Request for Proposals and opening of proposal be submitted in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders.
