Site work for a water / sewer project in Red Bank, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of March 7, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been established as of yet. Install about 5,600 LF of 8" gravity sewer and approximately eighty-two 6 gravity lateral stubs which will extend to the right-of-way line. The raw wastewater collected by the gravity sewer extension will terminate in the proposed Municipal pump station at 40 Riverside Avenue, also constructed under this Contract. The Municipal pump station force main will convey the raw wastewater to an existing manhole in Boulder Lane. From Boulder Lane, the wastewater will flow by gravity to the Lower Frederick Township wastewater treatment plant. This project consists of the following work: Construct Sewage Pump Station in accordance with plans and specifications. Install 5600 LF of 8-inch diameter SDR-26 Gravity sewer pipe under local roads. Install 41 precast concrete manholes. Install 510 linear feet 4-inch diameter force main. Install Sewer Laterals and Cleanouts. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and the Instructions for Submitting Electronic Bids set forth in the Bid Packet, including, but not limited to, a Bid Bond (issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania), Bank Money Order, or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to LFT; an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bonds will be provided by the Successful Bidder to LFT upon the awarding of the Bid; and proof of insurance as required by the Contract Documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. This Project is subject to provisions of Act 422 of 1961, as amended (Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act) and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Department of Labor and Industry. All Contractors and subcontractors must be in compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act. All Bidders are urged to attend this meeting. LFT reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the Contract, to waive any informality or irregularity in the Bids, and exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. Award of the Contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. Bids may be held by LFT for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. LFT does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. Mark L.
