Cooling Coil Replacement Project Yes, awarded contractor will be required to provide a Payment and Performance bond for 100% of the total contract amount. Yes, in the amount of 2% of the total proposed bid amount, payable to City of Minneapolis, Finance Department The work in this contract comprises of supplying and installing new heavy gauge copper cooling coils in the listed HVAC units at the MCC. The vendor shall provide all tools and equipment to perform the installation of appropriately sized cooling coils in each specified HVAC unit. All work associated with the installation shall be performed by the vendor. This should include any crane/rigging services to locate the materials at the MCC and any modifications/preparations in the penthouse areas. This work will also include placing the old coils on the ground in an area specified by the MCC. B. All Branch valves shall be replaced C. Additional Supply valves shall be installed at a location determined by the MCC D. Additional Return valves shall be installed at a location determined by the MCC E. All related piping shall be insulated. F. Cooling coils shall be Type L heavy gauge copper. G. Contractor shall perform all necessary connections to existing MCC equipment. H. Contractor will verify the proper measurements of all new coils. I. Coordination of all work performed with MCC Project Manager. J. Start and test unit for proper operation K. Report any findings or deficiencies to client L. Complete clean up by contractor after work complete. M.
