Project Location: 101 West Madison Street, Metamora, IL 61548 This project consists of a major HVAC renovation at Metamora Township High School. Thisincludes demolition of certain existing HVAC and Electrical components. The project also consists of new HVAC equipment, piping, and ductwork that will be installed above existing ceilings or on existing roofs. There will also be a structural steel platform for the new chillers and reinforcement of the existing structure as well as supplemental steel to support new RTU's that are to be installed on the existing roof The multiple bid packages included are as follows: Bid Package 01 Concrete Bid Package 02 Structural Steel & Platforms Bid Package 03 Temperature Controls Bid Package 04 HVAC Bid Package 05 Electrical Bidders must submit all questions in writing to Chris Tyra at chris@midconpro.com. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. All bids must be accompanied with bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or a cashier's check, made payable to Metamora Township High School District #122 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. The bidder shall, within said ten (10) days, provide a Performance and Payment Bond, with a Surety to be approved by the District, in the amount of 100% of the cost of the contract, the cost of which shall be included in the bid. The form of the Performance and Payment Bond is subject to approval of counsel for the District. Each bidder expressly agrees that such bid may not be withdrawn for a period of forty five (45) days from the opening thereof. Withdrawal within such period shall subject the bidder to forfeiture of Bid Bond, as well as penalties and damages to the District to the extent that such withdrawal results in loss to the District. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors or irregularity in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed. The Board of Education will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder that meets the criteria as established in the specifications and the contract will be awarded only after a formal notice is given to the successful bidder pursuant to action by the Board of Education.
