Bids will not be accepted after the time indicated herein and will be returned unopened. A cashiers check or bid bond payable to the University of South Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000 must accompany the bidder's proposal. General: Project name is Allergy & Integrative Medicine Clinic at University Commons-HVAC for the University of South Alabama as shown on the Contract Documents prepared by Goodwyn Mills Cawood, LLC and the University of South Alabama Facilities Department, dated 12.01.21. B. This Work will be done under a single prime contract. Contract for complete construction of project shall be fully completed by April 12, 2022. Contractor shall also meet each project schedule milestone dates for HVAC as listed in the attached project schedule. C. Contract Documents: Indicate the work of the Contract and related requirements and conditions that have an impact on the project. Related requirements and conditions that are indicated on the Contract Documents include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: D. Summary by References: Work of the Contract can be summarized by references to the Contract, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions (if any), the Project Manual, Technical Specification Sections, Drawings, Addenda and modifications to the Contract Documents issued subsequent to the initial printing of this Project Manual and the Drawings, and including but not necessarily limited to printed material referenced by any of these. It is recognized that the Work of the Contract is also unavoidably affected or influenced by governing regulations, natural phenomenon including weather conditions, and other forces outside the contract documents.
