Telephone 765-825-5981, Fax 765-825-0073. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to award any portion separately to one or more bidders. Awarding of bids will be evaluated on the basis of such factors as part performance, reliability, integrity, delivery of materials and who is capable of performing the contract requirements fully and in good faith. CULVERT PIPE, METAL, AND PLASTIC Bidder to furnish 2-2/3" x 1/2" and 3" x 1" corrugated riveted or spiral galvanized steel, aluminum, and aluminum coated culvert pipe and also provide solid and perforated plastic pipe in the sizes indicated below, to the Fayette County Highway Department for the year 2022 up to and including December 31, 2022. All culvert pipe to meet Federal and State Specifications in addition all bands (collars) must be either welded or riveted for the fastening device. All collars will be 2 feet in length. Nuts and long bolts will be provided with the collars. Specifications as follows: (1) 14 Gage . 079" (2) 12 Gage .109" (3) 10 Gage .138" 12" through 48" inclusive, to include span and rise culverts. Plastic pipe 8" through 48". To be delivered by vendor to the Fayette County Highway Garage. All materials are to be a firm bid GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL Bidder to furnish 87 octane unleaded gasoline and premium diesel fuels #1 and #2 for the Fayette County Highway Department for the year 2022 up to and including December 31, 2022. Gasoline to be delivered by tank wagon to the Highway Department in an amount as directed by the Highway Supervisor or designated representative. All diesel fuel including off-road and winter grade will be provided at a 24 hour fueling station operated by the successful bidder. The successful bidder will provide cards for each vehicle/equipment as provided by the Highway Department Superintendent. Bid will include an escalation/de-escalation clause. (See below) GRAVEL & CRUSHED GRAVEL For the year up to and including December 31, 2022, 35,000 tons more or less. Gravel sizes loaded by supplier: #4, #5, #53, #8, #9, #11, #11B, #12, #73, #7C, and #2, Crusher Run, Waste Sand, Fill Sand, Rip Rap, Waste Pea Gravel, S.P.R. (Special Pit Run) over 1- 1/2 inch screen, C.P.R. (Crushed Pit Run) over 3/4 inch crushed. See specifications for gravel and Fayette County #53 asphalt mix. Stone sizes loaded by supplier: #4 and #8 CRUSHED LIMESTONE CLASS "A" #1, #2, #5, #8, #9, #11, #12, #53, #73, and Rip Rap. FLOWABLE FILL To be delivered to any location in the County as directed by the Highway Supervisor or designated representative. All of the above materials shall be in accordance with the Indiana State Highway and Fayette County Highway Specifications. All materials are to be a firm bid. BITUMINOUS, LIQUID ASPHALT Specifications for furnishing bituminous liquid asphalt emulsions to be Fayette County Highway Department for the year 2022: Bids for 500,000 gallons more or less of liquid asphalt emulsions of the following types: CM-90, CM-150, CM-200, CM-300, AE-T, AE-90, RS-2, AE-150, AE- 200, HP-2, HP-3, AE-300, AE-PL (Dust Control Oil), and AE-P (Prime) Bidders shall bid price per gallon. Bidder to show waiting time cost. (A) F.O.B vendor's plant. (B) Delivered to Fayette County Highway Department or other site to be off loaded from truck, or to vendor supplied tank, to pug mill plant. (C) Bidder to provide a minimum of 9,000 gallon tank for liquid asphalt at the pug mill site. (D) Delivered to any road in Fayette County at the direction of the Highway Superintendent. All of the materials shall be in accordance with the Indiana State Highway Specifications. State inspection of tanks may be required by the Highway Supervisor. The Fayette County Highway Department has the right to request a sample to be tested at the bidder's expense. Bid to include an escalation/de-escalation clause. (See below) SPECIAL CLAUSE: The above asphalt emulsions must be a minimum of 135 F at time of delivery to job site. Escalator is for asphalt emulsions. Base price of Asphalt at time of bid. ESCALATION / DE-ESCALATION CLAUSE: Bidder may reserve the right to increase the contract unit price in an amount equal to the bidder's increase in cost of materials and supplies occurring subsequent to the date on which such bid is submitted (hereinafter referred to as "base date") to the Board having authority to award contracts, provided any bidder reserving the right to increase the contract unit price, must also decrease the contract unit price to the County in an amount equal to the bidder's decrease in cost of materials and supplies occurring subsequent to the date on which such bId is submitted (hereinafter referred to as the "base date"). Any increase (or decrease) in the bidder's cost of materials and supplies after the base date shall be determined monthly, and shall be verified by proper documents furnished to the responsible awarding Board which shall include proof of price to the bidder from the bidder's source of supply. BULK DEICING SALT For the year up to and including December 31, 2022, 800 tons more or less. Salt delivered supplier: Bulk Deicing Salt To be delivered to any location in the County as directed by the Highway Superintendent or his designee. All materials shall be in accordance with the Indiana State Highway and Fayette County Highway Specifications. All materials are to be a firm bid. All materials are to be a firm bid. NOTE: All bids are subject to appropriation. A non-collusion affidavit is also required. Specifications are at the County Highway Department upon request.
