Site work for a municipal facility in Clarkston, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered. Asotin County is not liable for delayed mail service or other delays that may cause the Bidder's bid package to not arrive on time. It is the Bidder's responsibility to ensure that their Bid is received on time and at the correct location. Bids received after the date and time prescribed for the opening of bids - or not submitted at the correct location or in the designated manner - will not be accepted and will be returned to the Bidder unopened. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders for a list of items that are required in the bid. Each bid shall be separately sealed in an envelope and addressed to the Asotin County Public Works with the name of the Bidder and the project name clearly written or typed on the outside of the envelope. FACSIMILIES OR EMAILS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A representative of the Bidder must attend and sign-in at the meeting to be eligible for bidding. Handicap access to the Asotin County Courthouse is available. The Project contemplated consists of early earthwork for future landfill entrance and support facilities and Justice Center north of the existing Asotin County Regional Landfill - 2901 6th Avenue - Clarkston - WA 99403. The Project also includes a new segment of 6th Avenue for a future road realignment. Notice to Proceed (NTP) will be granted no later than January 31 - 2022. The Work shall be Substantially Complete within 100 calendar days of NTP and completed in all respects no later than 30 calendar days after Substantial Completion is granted. To receive a paper copy of the bidding documents by mail - make arrangements with the Asotin County Department of Public Works for purchase and applicable shipping charges. Include a check or money order in the amount noted above - plus the applicable shipping costs. Any cause of delay for the Contractor not receiving documents in time to bid the Project is not the responsibility of Asotin County. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed (enclosed) Bid Form and accompanied by a Bid Security as stated in the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) and insurance as required in the Bidding Documents. In order to be eligible to submit a Bid on public work in the State of Washington - Bidders and their Subcontractor(s) shall hold such licenses and registrations as required in the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) - and all federal and local Laws and Regulations. Bidders are required to comply with the State of Washington RCW 39.30.060 requirements as they relate to identification of Subcontractors. Each Bidder shall submit as part of their Bid - the names of all Subcontractors for the performance categories of Work designated on the list to be provided with the Bid or whose subcontract is more than 10% of the Contract Price with whom the Bidder - if awarded the Contract - will subcontract the Work. The Bidder shall indicate by naming itself for any categories of Work that the Contractor will self-perform. Failure to name such Subcontractors or itself will render the Bidder's Bid nonresponsive - and therefore - null and void. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids - or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents. No Bidder may withdraw their Bid within 60 days after the actual Bid Opening. The engineers opinion of cost for the project is $1,600,000 to 1,950,000.
