Requests for clarification are due Monday, January 3, 2022 5:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)] HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College (HACC) seeks bids from qualified Prime Contract Bidders to construct the above-named project. The project is located at the Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602. HACC is committed to providing opportunities for Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), and Women Business Enterprises (WBE), HACC encourages MBE and WBE firms to submit a Proposal for the Work and all bidders to proactively solicit MBE and WBE firms in the bidding and subcontracting process. The work will be performed under a Single Prime Contract and consists of repairs to the stormwater facilities at the HACC Lancaster Campus, 1641 Old Philadelphia Pike, Lancaster, PA 17602, including repairing and replacing riprap, grading, modifying and repairing drainage structures, including erosion and sedimentation controls and related items. Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Harrisburg Area Community College, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 - Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00. The Owner, HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College, reserves the right to waive any irregularities, defects, errors, omissions, informalities, or mistakes in any bid received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted at their sole discretion. Estimated Project Cost: $25,000-$40,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
