Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a library in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library; for site work for a library; and for asbestos abatement for a library.
GLY would like to formally request interested parties to submit pricing for the buildout of the UW's new offsite book storage at their Sand Point facility. Scopes we are currently looking to have priced include Division 02 - Demolition & Abatement, Division 05 - Structural Steel, Division 07 - Thermal Insulation, Division 07 - Roofing, Division 08 - Doors, Frames, & Hardware, Division 09 - Framing & Drywall, Division 09 - Acoustical Ceiling Tile, Division 09 - Flooring, Division 09 - Painting, and Division 26 - Electrical. Project scope includes construction of 30,000 ASF off-site shelving space on the fourth floor of Sand Point Building 5D and relocation of Libraries collections currently on campus as directed by UW Libraries to free up Allen South 1st floor. Project will also include renovation of Allen South 1st Floor for temporary use by the iSchool (until a more permanent location is available). Rough Timeline Construction for Sand Point - April 2022 through August 2022. Rough Timeline Construction for Allen Library - January 2023 through May 2023. This is a prevailing wage project.
