PROJECT LOCATION: Tri-Cities Airport, 351 Industrial Park Blvd, Endicott, NY 13760 Project generally includes the rehabilitation of the Taxiway A including access stub taxiways B, C, D, and E asphalt concrete pavement including profile cold milling of existing and paving of hot mix asphalt concrete pavement. Included in this work are maintenance and protection of traffic, milling, pavement repairs, paving intersecting taxiways (tie-ins), and installing taxiway pavement markings. All bids must be accompanied by a Proposal Surety (Bid Bond or other instrument as described in the Instructions to Bidders) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. PREVAILING WAGE RATES: Minimum hourly wage rates shall be paid per the wage rate determinations of the New York State Department of Labor and Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rate Act, whichever is higher. DBE / EEO REQUIREMENTS: The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Utilization Goal is 5.5%. The EEO goal for the Contractor's work force is 1.1% for Minority participation and 6.9% for Women participation. The project is being funded in part by the Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) Airport Improvement Program, and the New York State Department of Transportation. However, due to the timeline of FAA funding, the project construction work may not commence until late Summer or Fall 2022.
