Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Otley, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project includes all materials, equipment, transportation and labor and support needed to construct the Design Solution, per Drawings and Specifications for the Renovations of the project listed above. This project consists of a new building for Marion County Cordova Park. A summary of the work included in this project includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Excavation of existing site grading, slab, foundation and utility trenches. 2. New Construction, includes but not limited to: a. Concrete footings and slabs, masonry, formed concrete siding, structural steel, wood and timber framing, windows, doors, gypsum board finishing, painting, wall base, carpet, LVT, sealed concrete, ACT, wood plank ceiling. MEP: New mechanical heat pump furnace and split system, plumbing and electrical systems to accommodate new construction. b. A new Fire Alarm System shall be provided throughout the entire building, as shown on drawings and specifications. Marion County Conservation will award a single prime contract to one General Contractor. Contracts will be awarded after the recommended bid is approved by the Marion County Conservation Board. Site visits will not be given individually to Contractors that do not attend the PreBid Meeting during the time slot above. Questions need to be submitted electronically by the end of the day on Monday, January 10 th . Date of Commencement: March 01, 2022 or sooner if Contracts are issued sooner. The date of substantial completion is November 31, 2022. The estimated construction cost for this project is $1,000,000 (Base Bid)
