Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Pekin, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Pekin is seeking qualified Contractors to submit proposals to rework the parking lot of fire station 1 for the Pekin Fire Department located at 3232 Court St, Pekin IL, 61554 A. Remove Approx. 7,500 sq./ft. of asphalt. Saw cut joint between asphalt that will be left and new concrete. B. Remove Approx. 125 Sq. Ft. of concrete at the Court St. side entry door. This concrete will be replaced with new which is included within the listed square footage below. C. Re-grade proposed areas as described within the Construction Notes (Attachment E). D. Fill old water tank with flowable fill as described within the Construction Notes (Attachment E). E. Remove 2 Median areas within the existing parking lot and fill with concrete flush with existing parking lot. 1. Please remove lights on each median and terminate power 2. Plumbing cleanout is to be a flush mount access within the new concrete area. 3. Curbs to match existing F. Remove Existing Fire Station 1 Sign and Flagpole. Sign and flagpole will be stored (stored by the City), dispose of construction materials. G. Form and pour for Approx. 10,700 Sq. ft. of concrete 1. Make Appropriate modifications to 2 manholes located within the new concrete areas 2. 6" Concrete thickness throughout 3. CA-6 white rock base H. Disposal of old asphalt and cleanup must be included within the estimate.
