Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bay City, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes the replacement of designated water service lines that are constructed of, or contain, lead. Replacements will fall into one of three categories: (1) City-Side Lead Service Line Replacement (LSLR), where the pipe between the water main and the curb stop is replaced with a copper service line, (2) Customer-Side LSLR, where the pipe between the curb stop and the water meter is replaced with a copper service line, or (3) and Full LSLR, where the pipe between the water main and the water meter is replaced with a copper service line. Work shall also include HMA, curb, sidewalk and concrete driveway replacements, and exploratory excavations, as needed, as well as restoration and clean up. All questions must be submitted in writing to the City of Bay City Purchasing Department via e-mail scarmien@baycitymi.org no later than 3:00 p.m. one (1) week prior to bid opening The City of Bay City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities and/or informalities and to make award in any manner deemed by it in its sole discretion to be in the best interest of the City.
