Conversion and upgrade of the existing fire alarm System in Building 1000 into an integrated Fire alarm System and Mass notification System Complete meeting UFC-3- 600-01 and UFC-4-021-01. a. Remove or alter existing work or facilities in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portion of the existing work or facilities that remain. b. Repair or replace portions of existing work altered during construction operations to match existing or adjoining work, as approved by the Contracting Officer. At the completion of operations, existing work must be in a condition equal to or better than that which existed before new work started. c. Preserve the natural resources in accordance with the approved environmental protection plan prepared in accordance with UFGS 01 57 19 Temporary Environmental Controls. This project includes the complete design services as well as, all required labor, materials, equipment and testing to replace the existing fire alarm system in Building 1000 and integrate a new Mass Notification System (MNS) to meet applicable sections of UFC-3-600-01 and UFC-4-021-01 for a fully functional integrated Fire Alarm and Mass Notification System. The work is located at Building 1000, Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Philadelphia, PA. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. complete the entire work ready for use not later than 440 calendar days Addendum #1-#4 have been issued as of January 27, 2022.
