Estimated cost range is $3,500,000 - $4,300,000. The Work shall consist of improvements for pedestrian accessibility along various streets as shown on the Plans. The work in general includes the following features: removal and replacement of concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, and curb ramps; removal and replacement of asphalt pavement; asphalt grinding; adjustment of valve boxes, manholes, inlets and other utility and drainage features; demolition, removal, and relocation of various surface features; modifications to traffic signals and lighting; traffic markers, striping and pavement markings; landscaping and irrigation; and other ancillary features shown on the Plans. The work also includes mobilization, traffic control, construction surveying, coordination with property owners, permitting and agency coordination, and other incidentals necessary for complete and usable facilities. City will not conduct a Pre-Bid Conference and Site Visit.. The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. This Project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The Work shall reach Substantial Completion by June 30, 2022 . The Work shall reach Final Completion by July 14, 2022 . See Document 00050, References and Definitions, for definitions of Substantial Completion and Final Completion. For the purposes of these provisions, the first day of work for the project is estimated to be March 21, 2022, and this date shall be considered for bidding purposes. City specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all Bids, or re-bid, or to waive inconsequential deviations from Bid requirements not involving time, price, or quality of the Work.
