Site work for a road / highway in Sarasota, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sarasota County Public Works, Traffic Engineering is requesting quotes for the purchase of Matrix Advanced Cable (communication cable) for a Permanent Count Stations project. The County requires cable to provide power and communication to the Microwave Vehicle Detection System that is to be installed. The cable shall be compatible with Wavetronix HD SmartSensor. Cable construction shall meet the following: 1st component shall be 22 American Wire Gauges (AWG), and consist of 4 conductors (two pairs). Cable shall have a Primary Insulation of Polypropylene. Should include an Aluminum Mylar Shield. 2nd component shall be 18AWG, 2 conductors (one pair). Shall have a Primary Insulation of Polypropylene. Shall have an Aluminum Mylar Shield. Shall be PVC-Sun Light Resistant Jacket. Shall have a minimum temperature rating of 75C Should be equivalent to Matric Advanced Cable - 22/2pr & 18/2C Shielded-532P2218MA by Falcon Fine Wire. Reel Size- 5000ft x 3 =15,000 ft needed.
