Demolition and site work for a residential development in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
This project is being bid as a Lump Sum Project. The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the demolition, disposal, soil erosion control, fill, site security and site restoration of said property. Demolition shall include all structures, basements, crawl spaces, foundations, wells, cisterns, concrete / asphalt drives & walks, fences and trees / shrubbery. Restoration shall include grading, seeding, fertilizing and mulching. The Contractor will be responsible for importing any fill / top dirt necessary to complete the project. Contractor is responsible for dust control and water if necessary. Water services shall be cut and capped on the house side of the meter pit. Sewer Laterals shall be cut and grouted shut on the house side of the curb / sidewalk. Natural gas services have been removed. The Demo and S&SE&O Permit shall be obtained by the contractor. The City of Lawrenceburg will waive the local permit fees. The property involved is located at 342-344 Short Street, Lawrenceburg IN. The Contractor will be responsible for any and all restoration off site. Any cistern or well removal shall be filled with pea fill. All work shall be performed per the construction documents provided by the City of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Quotes shall include lump sum amount, Quote Form, detailed project schedule, Conflict of Interest / Nepotism affidavit and the E-Verify forms provided. The last two items are required by the State of Indiana for all Public Works Projects, effective July 1, 2012. The City will stop taking questions at noon on Tuesday December 28, 2021. The contractor shall submit a work plan summary to the City for approval prior to starting. Packets with the required forms may be picked up at the office of the Lawrenceburg Clerk-Treasurer during normal working hours. Bidders shall be pre-qualified with the City at least 48 hours prior to submitting quotes to be eligible.
