To bid on this project, Contractors are required to review the project onsite with the Project Manager. During the meeting, the contractor will obtain a Bid Submission Form and a Certificate of Attendance. The Contractor shall include both forms in his bid submission. Only Contractors who have attended a meeting to review the project with the Project Manager shall be allowed to bid on the project. Buildings Rehabilitation/Renovation, Concrete/Formed/Flatwork/Foundation. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to the Facilities Supervisor in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the Facilities Supervisor in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Facilities Supervisor as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Removal of living room flooring and floor joists where necessary to allow for work to take place in the crawlspace. o Installation of an 8" Cast in Place concrete wall along the North, Northeast, and Northwest wall. Concrete is to extend down to the base of the footing, as identified in Attachment E. Concrete is to be reinforced by #4 rebar at intervals of 18" on center. o Installation of 2" foam insulation on all exterior walls in the crawl space. To be installed after the new concrete has properly cured. o Installation of insulation on all rim joists in the crawlspace. o Replacement of any removed floor joists and plywood subfloor to meet existing floor elevation. o Installation of new flooring and base on the living room elevation. New flooring to include the kitchen and main entrance hallway areas. o Acceptable flooring materials are listed below: Earthwerks Landcaster Plank ALP670 with Johnsonite CB47 (Brown) Vinyl Base Shaw Philadelphia 00269/LVP269 with Johnsonite CB47 (Brown) Vinyl Base o NOTE - No other flooring materials will be accepted o Tuckpoint lose CMU blocks to prevent further damage to the exterior wall. o Installation of aluminum gutter and downspouts on the North and South walls of the property. o Exterior site work including regrading and concrete replacement will not be a part of this project and will be bid at a separate time.
