A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE This Sources Sought Notice is being issued for market research purposes to determine the availability, capability, and interest for a potential Government requirement. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE; requests for a solicitation will go unanswered. No award will be made from this Notice. Responses will be used to determine potential acquisition strategies, understand current market capabilities, and to gain knowledge of potential sources. GENERAL SCOPE: The Air Force seeks sources to provide multiple facilities through additive construction. Facility types include office buildings, housing, dorms and other buildings and fortifications. Source must be able to construct at least a single-story structure that is a minimum of 50' x 50' in dimension using additive construction for exterior load bear walls and interior walls. Deliverable should include all components necessary to provide a complete facility, to include design, labor, materials, utilities, and equipment. Final construction must include adequate description and documentation to demonstrate equivalence with the standards of the UFC/UFGS for military construction as well as the Miami-Dade High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ) and Notice of Acceptance standards. Methods employed by this submission should demonstrate considerable savings when compared to traditional methods. The proposed methodology should be operable by appropriately trained personnel with minimal operator inputs. Facilities must be able to be delivered in a variety of locations and environmental conditions. Further, submissions should utilize predominantly local materials and be capable of construction using equipment onsite and not rely on machinery or processes in other geographic locations. Submissions should include experience with additive construction of permanently occupied facilities, reinforced 3-D printed exterior/load bearing walls. All construction must be capable of validation through dynamic "shake table" testing and must have achieved a complete and usable facility that has been approved for occupancy for residential, industrial or commercial use. CAPABILITY STATEMENT Responses must be limited to ten (10) 8.5 x 11 pages with a minimum font size of point 10. Please provide the following information: 1) Company name, Employer Identification Number (EIN; previously DUNS #), address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address. 2) Examples of experience and capability of similar magnitude and complexity to the potential requirement. Each example should include a brief description of the project, description of the work performed (identification of self-performance and/or Subcontractor management), customer name, customer satisfaction, timeliness of performance, dollar value of the project, and whether there were any challenges experienced during the project (delays, investigations, health and safety issues, labor shortages, management/organizational issues, etc.). 3) Business size and socioeconomic type for the applicable NAICS is small business. Please submit all capabilities statements, information, brochures, and/or marketing material as one (1) document, limited to the page maximum above. Responses will not be considered an offer, proposal, or bid for any solicitation that may result from this Notice. Moreover, responses will not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. This Notice is for information and planning purposes only. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any review conducted or the capability statements received.
