b. Evelyn Alexander Elementary School, 1210 Adams Street, North Chicago, Illinois 60064
c. North Chicago Community High School, 1717 17th Street, North Chicago, Illinois 60064 1. At AJ Katzenmaier Academy, student washroom, staff washroom and nurse's washroom renovations consisting of demolition and new Work to provide; ADA accessibility, fixture replacement, piping revisions, mechanical revisions, doors, frames, hardware, toilet partitions, LED light fixtures, terrazzo floor repairs, ceramic wall tile, FRP paneling, sheet vinyl flooring, lay-in ceiling system and new finishes. 2. At Evelyn Alexander Elementary School, gymnasium improvements consisting of demolition and new Work to provide; gypsum board wall finishes, painting, wall pads, doors, frames, hardware,
glazing and electrical revisions. 3. At North Chicago Community High School, renovations consisting of demolition and new Work to provide; mechanical revisions, LED light fixtures, lay-in ceiling system, roofing and new finishes. 4. Work to implement various Life Safety Improvements. Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond, AIA Document A310 in an amount equal to not less than 10% of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312, as issued by the American Institute of Architects. 5. The Work at each building, includes associated demolition, general, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction modifications as well as other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
