This open-ended, on-call Contract consists of sidewalk, curb ramp, curb and gutter, and ADA upgrades at various locations in Frederick, Carroll, and Howard Counties. The exact location of each repair site is indeterminate at the time of bidding. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Special attention is directed to GP-5.06, Cooperation Between Contractors. E - $2,500,000 to $5,000,000 DBE Participation (%) 20.0 Pre-Bid Conference: A Pre Bid Conference will not be held for this project. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00. The MDOT SHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
