Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Project consists generally of the following major items: The Louisburg Sidewalk Project will install approximately 6,500 linear feet of 5-foot wide sidewalk along Louisburg Road. The project will extend existing sidewalk from Beacon Street on the south end to Perry Creek Road on the north end. The sidewalk will provide improved pedestrian connectivity between Spring Forest Road, Wake Technical Community College and commercial areas near Perry Creek Road. Pedestrian signals design by an outside consultant will be used to safely cross the I-540 interchange. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid and shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction to Bidders. Furthermore, the Citys goal is to contract or sub-contract fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount to certified MWBEs on construction projects over $300,000, or with contracts that include $100,000 or more in state funding.
