Purpose: The County of Galveston is seeking a vendor to provide SS-1, EAP+T, and CRS-2 Emulsion for delivery or pick up by County Departments. Contract will be awarded for each line item separately. The anticipated minimums are 50,000 gallons per year All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope: ITB #B222001A ASPHALT, OILS & EMULSIONS Bidders name, return address, and the enclosed label should be prominently displayed on the bid package for identification purposes. Bid prices shall be either lump sum or unit prices as shown on the proposal sheet, if applicable. The net price will be delivered to Galveston County, including all freight, shipping, and license fees. Galveston County is tax exempt and no taxes should be included in your proposal pricing. Upon satisfaction of contractual terms (e.g., goods delivered in promised condition, services rendered as agreed, etc.), contractor shall be paid via Galveston County's normal accounts payable process. Bond Requirement: No bond is required with this Invitation to Bid. The Galveston County Commissioners Court reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid or bids which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect the governing laws.
