As of August 22, 2023, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design development phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in spring/summer 2024, with construction starting in summer 2024 and ending in spring 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The qualified provider shall engage in a professional service contract for design services related to the construction of a new Equipment Services Garage for the City of Greensboro. Services shall be provided at various locations and scope of work to be determined by the City of Greensboro's Equipment Services Division and the Division of Facilities Staff. The City will specify services to be performed by the Architect/Engineer in the form of a written proposal or on AIA document. This agreement will involve the execution of a master contract between the City of Greensboro and the selected company or firm. The agreement will be for services and criteria as identified and outlined by the Request for Qualifications (RFQ). All expressions of interest are to be submitted by 5:00PM on Monday December 27, 2021. All questions with regard to the RFQ must be submitted no later than 5:00pm on January 12, 2022 and submitted / addressed via email to butch.shumate@greensboro-nc.gov Questions received after the deadline will not receive a response. The City of Greensboro reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for any reason and to waive informalities at the City's discretion.
