The Illinois School for the Visually Impaired is seeking a vendor to remove and replace plumbing fixtures in several rooms in building 18 1) Remove and replace Plumbing fixtures, in the following rooms in building 18; o Room 005: Remove and replace damaged 10" section of drainpipe. o Basement South restrooms: Remove and replace fixtures on two sinks, and two toilets. o Basement North rest room: Remove and replace fixtures on one sink, and one toilet. o Kitchen area N Basement: Remove and replace kitchen sink fixture. o Room 101 Remove and replace kitchen sink fixture, and disposal. o Room 108 Remove and replace fixtures on four showers, four sinks, one bath\shower combination, three toilets. o Room 115 Remove and replace fixtures on one sink, one toilet, and one shower head. o Room 123: Remove and replace fixtures on four showers, four sinks, one bath\shower combination, three toilets. o Room 132: Remove and replace kitchen sink fixture, and disposal. o Room 119: Remove and replace fixtures on one sink, one toilet, and one shower head. o Room 201: Remove and replace kitchen sink fixture, and disposal. o Room 211: Remove and replace fixtures on four showers, four sinks, one bath\shower combination, three toilets. o Room South end: Remove and replace fixtures on four showers, four sinks, one bath\shower combination, three toilets. o Room 215: Remove and replace fixtures on one sink, one toilet, and one shower head. o Room 220 Remove and replace fixtures on one sink, one toilet, and one shower head. o Room 234: Remove and replace kitchen sink fixture, and disposal. 1) The Contractor will be responsible for following all proper procedures, and methods of removal and disposal of old fixtures. 2) The Contractor will verify that all work is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 3) All hot water fixtures will have scald guards that are compliant with local and state regulations. 4) The Contractor will verify that water flow to all fixtures meets all standards and regulations. 5) All material must meet current safety standards and requirements
