EllisDon is the Construction Manager for the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Corporation (TWRC) Lake Shore Boulevard East: Don River Bridge and Public Realm Project. EllisDon invites eligible companies, firms or joint ventures to submit proposals for the Wet Utilities package: All works required for the site preparation and clean cap excavation of Lake Shore Blvd. East from the east side of Lake Shore Bridge to Carlaw Ave. and from the West side of Lake Shore Bridge to approx. Bent 330; - Storm and watermain decommissioning and removal. - Temporary asphalt removal and disposal, on median and intersections. - Sanitary connection West of Lake Shore Bridge. - New watermain, storm sewer and sanitary sewer, trenching method, including but not limited to the supply and installation of storm sewers and water mains (temporary and/or permanent as required), connections to existing and/or new services, clean cap excavation, backfill, compaction and restoration of all utility trenches, dewatering and management of excavated soils. - New storm and watermain, trenchless construction. - Supply and install trench blocks as per RMM report. - New watermain, above ground, North of rail bridge, including connections to existing and/or new services. - Flush sewer and CCTV inspection of all storm sewers including DVD or USB drive and report to the City of Toronto standards. - Pressure testing, chlorination, and bacteriological testing as per City of Toronto specifications. - Supply and installation of steel liners for wet utilities.
