Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud during a live WebEx meeting immediately after the specified closing time. A link to the bid opening can be obtained by emailing purchasing@bloomingtonmn.gov. All bids submitted are to be valid for sixty (60) calendar days A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. I enclose a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum Bid, payable to "City of Bloomington, MN" I agree to hold this Bid open for a period of sixty (60) Calendar Days after the Bid opening.
