Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waxahachie, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Project scope includes approximately 33,000 SY of 6" Reinforced Concrete Street Pavement and 9,400 SY of 8" Reinforced Concrete Street Pavement. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the pre-bid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be opened unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified. Copies of the bidding documents may be purchased and picked up at the office of the Engineer for $100, or an electronic version may be obtained and downloaded for free by contacting a representative of the Engineer for the District: Nathan Thompson, PE nathan.thompson@pelotonland.com and/or Jessica Lee jessica.lee@pelotonland.com. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
