Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Linton, Indiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. Base bids may be held for the following period before award of Contract: Sixty (60) Days Should a successful Bidder withdraw his bid or fail to satisfactorily execute all the requirements and enter into a written Contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Acceptance of his bid, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited, not as a penalty, but as liquidated damages. The successful Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond from an approved surety company, which will remain in full force and effect for a period of one (1) year after date of final acceptance of work. Performance Bond and Payment Bond shall be in an amount equal to the following percentage of the Contract Sum: One hundred percent (100%) Greene County will contract with multiple prime contractors for the Bid Packages listed below, with bids received on a lump sum basis for each bid package. Bids may also be submitted that combine both bid packages. Bid Package A - Post-Frame Building Bid proposal shall include material, storage, and delivery costs only. A future bid package, to be issued in Mid-February 2022, will include the remainder of the project scope, including the building interior and systems. Bid Package B - Site Work Bid proposal shall include all labor, material, and services necessary to complete the earthwork, site utilities, and grading scope in strict accordance with the Construction Drawings, Project Schedule, and Project Manual. The entire site scope will be included in the Construction Drawings, but scope of work for this bid package will only include earthwork, site utilities, and grading. The remainder of scope will be included in a future bid package to be issued in MidFebruary 2022. Bid Package #2 This project includes the construction of a new, emergency medical services (EMS) facility. The building will be approximately 6,990 SF. The building will include a training room, offices, locker rooms, storage, bunk rooms, dayroom, kitchen, and ambulance bays
