This contract shall be for a four (4) year period beginning on the date of contract award. The Authority shall have the option of extending the contract for one (1) additional one (1) year term. The Authority shall give the Contractor written notice of its intent to renew no less than ninety (90) calendar days prior to the expiration and if the Authority elects to renew, the terms of said renewal shall be specified in writing as part of the written notice. Contractor shall respond within thirty (30) calendar days of this notice with any exceptions or changes to the original contract terms. The exceptions shall be negotiated between the Authority and the Contractor during the remaining sixty (60) calendar days of the notice period. If there are no exceptions taken or, upon mutual contract of the parties concerning renewal terms, the Contractor shall sign the renewal notice and send it back to the Authority. The total term of this contract, including all renewals, shall not exceed five (5) years. The successful proposing Offeror will have fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the notification of Award to furnish any required additional submissions including the performance and payment bonds required herein, if applicable. The Authority reserves the right to reject any proposal as non-responsive if the Proposal fails to include any of the required information in the specified order.
