The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for an HVAC system upgrade at the Trudy Resnick Farber Building.The project, located at the Ulster County Trudy Resnick Farber Building,50 Center Street,
Ellenville, NY 12428, shall include the removal and replacement of the existing chillers,pumps, concrete pads, piping, tank, and fencing as detailed in plans T-001 to E-111, and specification sections 024119 through 329200, as developed by the Popli Design Group,45 Lewis Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. Contract term: 12 Months.The Contract Period will be from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022. The County reserves the right to reject any bid if such investigation fails to satisfy the County that the bidder is fully qualified to do the work. Financial instability of a bidder may be cause for non-award. Conditional bids will be considered informal and will be rejected. The successful bidder is required to pay the Prevailing Wage Rates and the Prevailing Hourly Supplements pursuant to Section 220-A of the NYS Labor Law. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check made payable to Ulster County, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. In lieu of such check, the bidder shall furnish a bid bond in the same amount, payable to Ulster County, and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New York and approved by Ulster County. Checks or bid bonds of all bidders will be returned after the contract has been executed. Within ten (10) days from the date of the Notice of Award, the successful bidder must deliver to the County of Ulster an executed Performance Bond and an executed Labor and Material Payment Bond. These bonds must be in an amount equal to one hundred percent of the amount of the contract and conditioned for the faithful performance of all terms, covenants and conditions of same.
