The Emergency Relief Projects Culvert Repair consists of removal of damaged culvert pipe, installation of new culvert pipe, and other items of work as indicated in the project bid book and on the plans. The DBE goal for the contract is 9%. The Project purpose is to remove melted high-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) culverts and corrugated steel culverts that have been extensively damaged by the Camp Fire and replace with new reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) culverts, as well as restore roadway sections above the pipes. Federal prevailing wage rates apply to this project. PN - 7301.CON The work in general consists of culvert repairs. The work will include trenching, removal of existing culverts, placement of new culverts and drainage appurtenances including rock slope protection and flared end sections. The work will also include restoration of surface improvements such as asphalt concrete paving, curb gutter and sidewalk, and pavement markings.
