Site work for a civil project in Chateauguay, Quebec. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades and improvements to the City drinking water supply and wastewater treatment systems. The scope of the project includes construction of a new drinking water production system Chèvrefils using the membrane pressure treatment method and supplied with surface water to meet the needs of the city of Châteauguay and its customers served by the its water network. The owner aims the construction of a production facility with a capacity of 25,000 m3/day at the current location of the Chèvrefils pumping station. The scope of the project also includes alterations to the wastewater collection system. Note. Expected value of the construction program is as high as $25M. TIMELINE: The owner is implementing the project by construction packages. The first construction package relating to the Rodrigue-Caron pumping station has been already tendered, awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Refurbishment of the Rodrigue-Caron Pumping Station. Construction is underway. Subsequent package tenders will be followed when/if they are issued in new separate reports.
