Site work for a civil project in Chateauguay, Quebec. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Upgrades and improvements to the City drinking water supply and wastewater treatment systems. The scope of the project includes construction of a new drinking water production system Chèvrefils using the membrae pressure treatment method and supplied with surface water to meet the needs of the city of Châteauguay and its customers served by the its water network. The owner aims the construction of a production facility with a capacity of 25,000 m3/day at the current location of the Chèvrefils pumping station. The scope of the project also includes alterations to the wastewater collection system. TIMELINE: Project is included in the city capital plan and budget for 2024-2025-2026. Working drawings are underway. Tender for the general contractor is slated for early/mid-summer 2024. Completion is expected in late 2025. Note. The owner has issued a tender for preselection of treatment equipment that is not followed in the report under CRM ID name Preselection of Treatment Equipment - New Drinking Water Production Chèvrefils.
