Expected Contract Value - >$1 MM The Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority (WVSA) is requesting Bids for the construction of the Spring Run/Solomon Creek Phase 2 Stream Restoration, generally consisting of the construction of approximately 2,000 linear feet of stream restoration located in Hanover Township, Luzerne County, PA. Each Bid, when submitted, must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to 10% of Bidder's maximum Bid price to be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders, and include forms, qualification statements, affidavits and certifications, as more particularly listed in the Bidding Documents. The contractor must comply with the minimum rates for wages for laborers and mechanics as determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the provisions of the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts and contained in the Bidding/Contract Documents. This length includes approximately 1,300 contiguous feet along Solomon Creek, 300 additional linear feet of Solomon Creek downstream at South Main Street, and 400 linear feet of abandoned Spring Run channel The engineer estimates the value of the contract to be between $1.2 and $1.4million.
