Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Waldwick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work of this Contract consists of disconnecting and removing and disposal of existing screw feed, pump, power pack, control panel and appurtenances and unloading, rigging and installing and connecting new Owner furnished screw feed, pump, power pack, control panel and appurtenances. The new control panel is to be mounted on the opposite corner of the room from the existing panel. The work also includes new pump transition piping, relief drain valves, new 300 lb. ball valves, new press discharge hopper and appurtenances. The work includes mechanical as well as electrical work. Submission of sealed proposals may be done in the following manner as the Authority is presently closed to the Public: 1) Via overnight delivery services 2) Certified Mail Services or 3) Hand delivery by appointment arranged with the Authority Plant Superintendent, Robert Genetelli. Each proposal shall be submitted on the prepared forms which must be secured from the offices of the Authority during regular business hours, and each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of $500.00 payable to the order of the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority. If a bid bond is to be used, each bidder must use the form of bid bond prepared by the Authority. No substitute forms of bid bond will be accepted. Each proposal shall be submitted in a properly labeled sealed envelope with the name of the Bidder, his or her address, and the name of the Contract for which the proposal is submitted The Authority intends to award this Contract to the lowest Bidder whose Bid Packet is responsive and complies with its requirements for the Contract, provided that in the judgment of the Authority is reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of the Authority. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents The Authority further reserves the right to modify this Contract through the distribution of Addenda to plan holders of record without further publication. Bids will be evaluated on the basis of this Advertisement plus any Addenda issued by the Authority prior to the opening of the Proposal.
