The general scope of work shall consist of clearing, snagging, and removal of wood and/or woody debris from designated streams, rivers and channels throughout Pender County. The initial contract period will begin on the date of contract issuance by the County and continue for one (1) year with the option to renew for one additional one (1) year period, if mutually agreed upon by both parties. Bid Bond: For any proposal to be considered or accepted by the County, the proposal must include at the time of filing, a bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price Performance and Payment Bond: Selected Contractor(s) will be required to post a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of an event's estimated contract cost. All questions pertaining to this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than Wednesday, December 30, 2021, at 5:00 PM. Only written questions will be considered as formal.
