Submit questions by December 30, 2021. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee which shall be in the form of either: a certified check, cashier's check, bank draft. The amount of the certified check, bank draft, or cashier's check shall be in the amount of $500.00. The Bid Guarantee shall insure the execution of the contract and the furnishing of a method of assurance of completion by the successful bidder. NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT FOR AFFIRMATIVE ACTION TO ENSURE EQUAL EMPLOYMENT (Governor's Order of January 27, 1972) Bidders' attention is called to the provision for "EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY CLAUSE" and the "STANDARD FEDERAL EQUAL EMPLOYMENT CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS". The goals, timetables, compliance and regulations set for in the Executive Order deemed part of this solicitation by reference. The Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to re-advertise our bids, and to waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejections, re-advertisement or waiver is in the best interest of the Housing Authority.
