The Bedford County Economic Development Authority (EDA/Owner) is currently accepting sealed bids from qualified firms for landscaping maintenance services for the New London Business and Technology Center, the Bedford Center for Business, 212 East Washington Street in Bedford, and Montvale Center for Commerce. The centers were developed to allow for a variety of business, research and manufacturing uses and are an essential part of Bedford County's business climate. The services requested under this IFB focus on all aspects of landscape maintenance, and are vital in ensuring that the centers' park-like atmosphere and accessibility are properly maintained. The locations are to be bid together as a group. The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid is to establish a firm fixed price contract with one or more qualified Contractor(s) to provide lawn maintenance contractual services in Bedford County, in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained herein. This solicitation is issued by the Bedford County Department of Economic Development on behalf of the Bedford County Economic Development Authority, a political subdivision of the Commonwealth of Virginia, herein referred to collectively for convenience as "Owner". The duration of this contract will be one (1) year, with the option to renew four additional one year terms at the Owner's sole discretion.
