D264685, PIN 0BDP02, FA Proj Z0E1-0BDP-023, Suffolk Co., BRIDGE DECK REPLACEMENT, NY Route 27 over Hubbards Path, Town of Babylon, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $750,000.00) , Goals: DBE: 10.00% Deck Replacement on Route 27 over Hubbards Path in the Town of Babylon This project on the NY27 (Sunrise Highway) over Hubbards Path bridge proposes to replace the deteriorating concrete bridge deck and the steel bridge rail with a new bridge deck that will last over 40 years and a new reinforced concrete parapet wall that meets todays crash resistance standards. The bridge will also be made jointless to eliminate leakage below to prevent further deterioration to the concrete piers and abutments. The proposed work will preserve and prolong the service life of these existing structures and help maintain their reliability and integrity to assure the continued safety of the traveling public. This project is located in the LONG ISLAND region and includes the following: Counties Suffolk Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page.
