This project is already under construction.** The Base Bid Work shall include: o The installation of one new submersible non-clog lift station, 20 LF of 10" PVC Gravity Sewer with granular backfill, 42 LF of 6" Ductile Iron Force Main, one 48" Doghouse Sanitary Manhole, 100 LF of 16" HDPE Casing w/ 8" HDPE Carrier Pipe via horizontal directional drilling, 2,861 LF of 8" HDPE Force Main via horizontal directional drilling, connections to existing sanitary manholes, electrical equipment, fencing, clean-up and restoration, 15 VF of Cementitious Manhole Lining with Epoxy Coating, and all other work and appurtenances necessary for complete installation. Additionally, work shall include demolition of the existing lift station, which consists of a precast concrete wet well, an adjacent steel dry well, and ancillary equipment. The Alternate Bid No. 1 Work shall include o The installation of one new submersible non-clog lift station, 20 LF of 10" PVC Gravity Sewer with granular backfill, 42 LF of 6" Ductile Iron Force Main, one 48" Doghouse Sanitary Manhole, 100 LF of 16" HDPE Casing with 8" HDPE Carrier Pipe via horizontal directional drilling, 497 LF of 8" HDPE Force Main via horizontal directional drilling, 2,364 LF of 8" HDPE Force Main via open excavation, connections to existing sanitary manholes, electrical equipment, fencing, clean-up and restoration, 15 VF of Cementitious Manhole Lining with Epoxy Coating, and all other work and appurtenances necessary for complete installation. Additionally, work shall include demolition of the existing lift station, which consists of a precast concrete wet well, an adjacent steel dry well, and ancillary equipment. Work shall be constructed under a Unit Price Contract. The Contractor to whom the Work is awarded will be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price and must be in full force and effect throughout the term of the Construction Contract plus a period of twelve (12) months from the date of substantial completion.
